MRT Train with Route Lebak Bulus-Cipete Raya Trialled

PT Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta today is conducting system acceptance test (SAT) or trial towards MRT Jakarta train with route Lebak Bulus-Cipete Raya.

Yesterday we did trial at Lebak Bulus Depot, and now its route is extended to Cipete Raya Station

PT MRT Jakarta President Director, William Sabandar stated this trial is a continuation of previous trials, Thursday (8/9). 

First MRT Jakarta Train Tested

"Yesterday we did trial at Lebak Bulus Depot, and now its route is extended to Cipete Raya Station," he expressed, Saturday (8/11).

It is done by running train on the up-track lane towards HI Roundabout Station and will move to the down-track lane from HI Roundabout Station to Lebak Bulus Station.

"We hope it can be done successfully like yesterday," he explained.

In its operation, the train uses the communication based train control (CBTC) signaling system that is controlled from the operation control center (OCC) room by Traffic Dispatcher.

"The strength of this signaling system allows setting the time span between counters on the main route," he stated.
